Renown International talent agency is looking to fill 7 available opportunities for runway/catwalk models (Female models only for now but opportunities for male models might become available soon) for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami to take place during July 15-19, 2010 in Miami Beach.
Due to the high standards of this event we will invite selected candidates based on your headshots, pictures, portfolios, resumes and/or experience to fill out our talent application for this contract and invitations will be extended to visit our Miami offices for an interview with our casting team and a representative from each of our hiring clients.
Local (Florida based) talent is highly preferred but we will take care of travel arrangements for models that our clients consider qualified or a good match for their shows. Therefore any model (as long as you live in the US and are authorized to work legally in the country) should feel free to apply.
Models without runway/catwalk experience will be considered but models with some or good experience in the modeling industry have priority. We still encourage everybody to send us your info. We take pride in our good eye discovering up and coming talent and turning raw stones into beautiful diamonds.
Reply with your best picture(s)/Headshots, your stats/measurements (Height, waist, hips, chest, dress size, shoe size, etc) and either a short bio or a quick paragraph letting us know why you think you’re a good match for this contract! And we will send you all the information regarding the project, casting process, compensation, etc.
If contracted you will need to be available and on-site from July 15 to July 19, 2010 and assist to a 1-day training session 2 weeks before the event. And nightly rehearsals during the week prior the event.
The deadline for submitting your headshots, pictures, portfolios and/or resumes is March 31. Any submission after that day will not be considered for this project.
The compensation for this project is excellent as well as bonuses, designer clothing and industry perks.

The event will take place April 5th and 6th though our fashion show and mixer will be April 5th (Monday night) from 7:00-10:00pm at the Westin hotel. The second event will be a fashion show and party at the Jedidiah warehouse Friday April 9th in Mission Valley (San Diego).
Four male and four female models are needed for the runway, There will be 3 changes for each model. There is no pay for either event but we are highly encouraging all models to use this to gain experience and expand portfolios! No professional experience is necessary but it is prefered. Jedidiah is a surf clothing brand and that is precisely the look we are going for. So all of you tall blondes this is for you! Tattooed models are also very much encouraged to apply as this will be an awesome touch to the runway.
Please send a headshot or full body shot of professional work you have done or at least a facebook/myspace url i can check out if modeling is completely new to you. Though there is no pay i am promising letters of recomendation or a reference to any future gigs or jobs you may be trying to book. If you standout from other models you will also be casted for fashion shows in Las Vegas in September. This is a GREAT opportunity for all involved. At the mixer you will meet a very diverse group of people to network. The creative industry is all about making connections and you can do it here!
