is it haram for muslims to be in acting careers?
what if Muslims were only on paper as funny or something? what if they were not involved in a sexual acting career? Is it okay for them to act if you do not all guys, if you’re a girl and girls if a guy so much?

Do what you feel like doing which will give you a mental and spiritual satisfaction. Then it doesn’t matter what you are doing and whether it should be done or not. Ask to yourself do you always wanted to do this thing or not. Otherwise when you grow old you will regret why you didn’t do the things you liked or cherished.
In short, do not fall into the trap of what religion is saying or what others will think, do what you like and you will be the much happier person.

To my knowledge, it is not haram for Muslims to be in acting careers; however, they must be very cautious about the roles they play. I’d much rather for a man to portray Frederick Douglass than a drug dealer or pimp. I’d much rather for a woman to portray Harriett Tubman than a prostitute.
You know some iranian actress was imprisoned the other day for being in a movie that was not made in Iran. She stared alongside some big actors too.
Hmm, those islamic beliefs are great, no wonder countries ruled under Islam are doing so well at the moment
