This was very helpful. I noticed some “how to” youtubers don’t even give an example of what they’re trying to teach, and she just incorperated in into her speach. Bravo!

I Understood Her When She Was Talking Fast Lol

  • skydragon96:

You have to love this lady. I’ll audition for her anyday :)

  • HotCocoBean:

The main character actor from “The King’s Speech” was speaking slow and the guy from Social Network was talking dang fast, it depends if the character’s suppose to talk fast or slow. Sometimes the character is suppose to act nervous too.

  • moomoorat:

no sorry your’ve miss understood me. I ment that I’m from New Zealand and if I was going to go to an audition then should I speak in my normal accent =P

  • hyt243:

If you didn’t realise this is her normal accent — It’s a californian accent which quite alot of americans have that accent of – Lol, if you look up this acting auditions and you have no Idea where the USA is — Lol don’t get your hopes up because you’re a fucking idiot and will obviously never make it far.

  • dwyabam:

i don’t think this applies to Scottish people, when i speak to foreigners i need to speak really posh and slow and they still struggle to understand me, and i’m considered “posh” where i’m from.

  • xXCatXxWomen:

“and you dont want to go so slow that your boring your audience to death….” haha lol

  • famous1779:

    u r a really good actress

  • brezzyo0:

Love this video, thanks for posting it.

  • Dansilverbabe:

No shit tell me something I don’t know. Getting flustered is something that can happen if your a complete idiot! lol but keeping it under control is not that hard. I find that soaking in a nice warm bath before any performance is key. Just let your muscles relax and your voice will be solid. :)

  • Musiccheese321:

Thanks so much! I have an audition tomorrow, and doing my “research” has really boosted my confidence. :)

  • avok23:

I am sure my brother speed twice as fast.

  • moomoorat:

Would you speak in your normal accent too???????
