The successful candidate should be personable, approachable, flexible, and able to take direction well. Reliability and punctuality are critical. Second photographers must be available for work on Saturdays, with potential for additional days as needed. More than one person may be selected for this contract position.
Candidates must have their own equipment suitable for professional photography and be available on a freelance basis.

Second photographers are required to sign a contract and complete and submit a W9. The contract is on a per-job basis and does not create an employment relationship with the studio.

Keyboardist Wanted – Lexington – 1144913
02-01-12 – Raleigh, NC>Charlotte, NC – Just formed a new band, and surprisingly most all of the pieces have fallen in place. However, there’s still a couple of spots open. One being rhythm guitar. The other, someone who can play some keyboards. We’ve got a collective sound of influences from alternative rock, hard rock, grunge, prog, and metal. The plan is to do originals with maybe one or two covers, but mainly focusing on originals (as of now, I’m planning on sending out about 4 or 5 demos to get us started). Hopes at this point are to play out twice a month on the weekends, not until summertime though, and to have an album finished by the winter. Practices are going to be on Saturdays at 7:30 at a place in Salisbury. As I said, the line-up is pretty much set, we’re just filling in some holes. Requirements are:
Experience: at least a year of experience with video proof of said experience
Equipment: pro gear is a must. I expect nothing but the best and I expect everyone else to have nothing but the best. This is more for amp sizes and what not, you don’t have to play a PRS or a Gibson or anything
Transportation: you must have your own ride lined up.
Creativity: you have to bring something to the table. Bring your influences, no matter what genre they are, and wear them proud.

02-01-12 – Raleigh, NC>Charlotte, NC – Violin/fiddle player wanted to play with Irish/Sea Shanty vocal group of 6. We have two guitar players, a whistle/flute player, a bagpipe player, and mobile percussion, and really need a violin to round out the sound.
We rehearse weekly on Wednesday nights, and perform within a 6 hour drive of Raleigh on weekends, one-two times per month during the season. Most of our performances are paid (with no plans to quit our day jobs).
We mostly do this because we love the music. We are in the studio recording a CD in February-March. Most of the songs we perform are traditional, but we write and arrange some of our own music. You will need a costume, and we can provide you with one until you get established.
We are looking for someone with excellent stage presence as well as great musicianship. You need to be able to improvise, quickly learn our repetoire of Celtic and Sea Shanty music, and memorize songs.
If you can sing, that is also a plus. If you can lead new songs for the group, that is also a plus. Drop us a note and tell us about your background.
