I’ve been writing songs since 2008 and have over 500 voice files containing song ideas. I record the ideas as I go, and when something sounds catchy, I finish it. My problem comes in where my left hand was badly injured in the Joplin Tornado leaving me unable to play guitar. I have tried numerous times to start a band or something of the like, but it seems people are too busy… I need someone who has the time to devote to working on music. I need someone with a talent for picking up a tune or just simply pulling something wonderful right out of their ass that will compliment what is already there.
I do not do punk, I do not do death metal, I do not do emo whiny crap, I do not do the watered down tripe known as newer country music, and I sure as hell do not do christian music. I write songs to tell a story, to represent an emotion, I try my best to write songs as they were once written… with meaning. In a wonderful moment of boredom I messaged one of my favorite musicians to tell her what an inspiration she has been to me throughout my experience and sent her some songs I had worked on… she responded shortly after and said I had definitely something and to keep going.
Please if you are serious about starting something up, I have potentially decent song material, and a potentially decent voice. I will be more than happy to send whoever responds the files I’ve worked on. This is something I cannot let go, and that I will never let go… I beg anyone out there to help. — Project Type: 1

50s And 60s Band Needs Keyboard-MO – 1145530

Motley, Poison, Cinderella, Warrant, Ratt, Guns, Winger, Van Hagar etc etc. Been playing drums in 50’s and 60’s band for 10 years. Need to get back to the 80’s. I have a full stage complete with PA, monitors, lazers, lights, strobes at my house for rehearsal. I have been working on doing some singing so can fill in. Looking for guys or gals who love hair metal and have been playing in the basement and wanting to do the real thing. I am a business owner and family guy so I have no desire to shoot for anything. I want to play the songs I grew up with and build us all together. We can choose to play out if we think we should but no pressure. If some of you have been playing out and are ready to slow down then this could be good too. Could use somebody with a good ear, remember I am a drummer ( a guy who hangs out with musicians). Looking for low key folks who can just explode on stage. At this age its just fantasy so lets live it up. I have a bass rig, a small guitar amp and keys that we can use. These are also mic’ed so noise is not an issue. I went to rock camp a few years back and played with Kip Winger (amazing guy) and played a set at the Whiskey on the strip so I have got the bug. We need keys whatever as long as you like the above mentioned music. I am not opposed to costumes too. We had an 80’s hair metal party with full dress and it was awesome. No drugs or losers (you know who you are). I have kids, dogs, wife etc so Dad by day and pretend hair metal rock god at night or at least a few times a month. Hope there are others out there like me. email back and give me your story and number. My plan is to hopefully hear from some folks that seem like a fit and have a jam session and see what happens. We want a good bass player/singer, someone who can do time changes and plays fast and accurate,we want to do a three piece band like Rush, we would like you to have a metal voice, somebody like Phil Anselmo, Corey Taylor, ect, but if your good then we want too hear you!!!!
A little about us, I’m Seth I am 25y/o and Scott is 27y/o we can play very very good and we have pro gear and you should too. We dont have EGO’S and we don’t do DRUGS and you shouldn’t either!!!! My guitar influences are Dimebag Darrell, Tom Morrello, Slash, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Michael Angelo Baito.

We perform a variety of styles of Christian music from hymns to contemporary and original songs. Would possibly consider a djembe or similar style player. A keyboard player or another guitar would really add, as well. We do have an electronic keyboard for the right person to use. Other instrumentalists are welcome to visit with us. We currently have one guitar player that switches between acoustic and electric, but primarily plays rhythm and harmonica, a bass player, and two to three vocalists. We will play nursing homes, where we would play strictly hymns. As the year progresses there will no doubt be venues to play our more favorite contemporary selections. We are limiting ourselves to only one or two gigs a month, depending on wherever else God takes us. Practices would mostly be one night per week. You must have a real relationship with Christ, but you needn’t be perfect; but still striving to let God draw you deeper into His love.
