We have an electronic (synth rock/synth pop) type sound with a wide range of influences. We have the roland percussion unit the roland spd-sx and are looking for someone who can play it, live-so there is no need for a potential candidate to worry about equipment, WE HAVE WHAT YOU WOULD BE USING.

The ideal person would be:
1) DEPENDABLE AND NO DRAMA-no DIVAS!!
2) Able to practice 1-2 times a week @ our practice space in Novi
3) Be ok with being in an openly GLBT oriented band (so skip the hate or wisea$$ comments to this posting-we’ve heard it ALL before) YOU DON’T have to be Gay Lesbian BI or Transgendered (GLBT) but you DO have to be ok with performing in front of mixed audiences.
We’re currently working on a new CD and already have gigs scheduled for this spring/summer.

The story is about a young man contemplating about his life as he is sitting on a toilet, going to the bathroom. He looks malnourished, tired and is reminiscing about his state of mind. The film will include a monologue of him talking about his state of mind, and as he reminisces, there will be flashbacks of his past with his family and his life at school being bullied. The voice inside his head portrays all of these in a poetic way, as the man struggles to cope with accepting who he is. The film ends with him in a psych ward room, looking out the window, revealing that what was seen was an imagination from his head.

02-04-12 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – Hi I am going to be moving into the Detroit area around July and I am looking for a singer (with or without instrumental experience). I am a songwriter/producer and a guitar/keyboard player I write mostly poppish tunes and I’m looking for Singer to be the lead man to sing these songs.

Also possibility to write songs together, depending on your ability and experience. I am looking for somebody that is a strong pop/rock type voice.

Influences would be everything from old-school Beatles/soul /R&B to modern Weezer/ Bruno Mars/paper tongues, those kind of songs and voices, basically a top 40 sound with some more alternative (but still pop) is what I’m going for. If you have a video of yourself Or recording,  that would be even better. Get a hold of me and I will send you some clips of my songs and if you like it then maybe we can work something out.

 Nothing too serious at the moment but definitely some jamming and playing shows would be cool, even if it’s just an acoustic guitar and you singing  me. So even though I won’t be in the area for a while we can still work  on songs via the Internet, looking for probably a male between 18-35.

Being a local advocate for elderly persons, Marla’s goal has for a long time been to create a play that focuses on the social problem of the financial exploitation of the elderly. In particular, she has for some time been obsessed with the idea of turning the Dickens story on its head to do so.

All is not, though, as it might at first appear. While the actors are working together to create their adaptation, Marla is cleverly guiding their efforts to other, secret ends.

Within their small town, a conspiracy is brewing to unseat Marla’s husband Judge Tom Larson from his seat on the bench and replace him with a local attorney. Under Marla’s careful direction, the group’s adaptation is being crafted into a not-too-thinly veiled exposure of these and other nefarious goings-on. In making the plotters aware they have been and are being watched, Marla’s goal is to make them cease and desist from their conspiracy against her family.
