The videographer will work an average of one day a week and other times as needed to assist in planning, shooting and editing projects. He or she will work closely with the Communications Department to articulate Kanuga’s brand, clarify its message and ensure the consistency of this message in all materials and communications.

Kanuga provides an HD video camera, shotgun mic, basic lighting kit and editing equipment.

Principle duties and responsibilities:
• Camera operation using a Canon XH-A1s
• Assist with setup and lighting as required
• Edit or assist in the editing of video projects using Adobe Premiere CS5
• Production assistant roles to include production coordination, planning and logistics of shoots and day-to-day administrative responsibilities
• Maintain digital file archives

Requirements:
• 2-3 years’ experience in video production and editing
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Strong visual sense and ability to edit video to support marketing and public relations
