“Two Noble Kinsmen”
The Two Noble Kinsmen is a Jacobean tragicomedy, first published in 1634 and attributed to John Fletcher and William Shakespeare. Its plot derives from “The Knight’s Tale” in Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales, which had already been dramatised at least twice before.

“The Merchant Of Venice”
A play by William Shakespeare in which a merchant in 16th century Venice must default on a large loan provided by an abused Jewish moneylender. It is believed to have been written between 1596 and 1598. Though classified as a comedy in the First Folio and sharing certain aspects with Shakespeare’s other romantic comedies, the play is perhaps most remembered for its dramatic scenes, and is best known for Shylock and the famous “Hath not a Jew eyes?” speech. Also notable is Portia’s speech about “the quality of mercy”.

“The Taming Of The Shrew”
Shakespeare’s classic tale takes on a modern twist in which our shrewish Katharina and company venture to the Appalachians in the 1970’s. In a Trailer Park, rightly called Verona, the beautiful and gentle Bianca has no shortage of admirers (Lucentio, Gremio and Hortensio) but her father insists that she will not marry until her sister, Katharina, is betrothed. Bianca’s suitors, in turn, ask for the help of the fortune-seeking Petruchio, to court, and eventually tame, the wily sister.
