What God Joined Together – 1418505
04-04-14 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – What God Joined Together

Hard-Hitting, Captivating, and Hilarious’ are just some of the words being used to describe Edward Fernandez’s highly anticipated stage play: What God Joined Together! Written, directed, and produced by the new kid on Atlanta’s already vibrant entertainment block, the 26 year old sets out to revive a subject that’s becoming more and more of a declining trend.

“In the book of St. Matthew where it says: if a man leaves his father & mother, he is to cleave to his wife; and they are to become one flesh.

What I attempted to do is take that scripture and showcase a couple, really a family, because they’re many sub stories told within the main one, who didn’t handle that “becoming one flesh” process well; and all the laughs, hurts, and pains that come with it, and present it in a provocative way within the limitations of live theatre, he said.

With a live band and five original songs written by Edward as well, who also co stars in his production as Daddy G. and some of the industry’s most respected entertainers who will be announced in May being featured in this piece; What God Joined Together has all the makings of a play that is sure to amaze!
