02-27-15 – Albany, NY>Hartford, CT – Set in the late 1960’s, in the deep south, during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, this exciting new spin on Shakespeare’s classic love story centers on two families, one African American, one Caucasian American, in the midst of a racial feud. Their children fall in love and marry interracially in secret, hoping their love for each other can end the feud, and bring the two families together in a peaceful coexistence.

In the streets of Verona another brawl breaks out between the servants of the feuding noble families of Capulet and Montague. Benvolio, a Montague, tries to stop the fighting, but is himself embroiled when the rash Capulet, Tybalt, arrives on the scene. After citizens outraged by the constant violence beat back the warring factions, Prince Escalus, the ruler of Verona, attempts to prevent any further conflicts between the families by decreeing death for any individual who disturbs the peace in the future. — Project Type: Live Event

Videographer For Taping – 1477538
02-26-15 – Albany, NY>Hartford, CT – Seeking a videographer to video a prominent person for our project. It will be a talking head that needs some lighting to enhance existing office lighting. Fix a wired lavaliere microphone and adjust it manually.

It will be around a 2-3 minute scripted piece looking directly into the lens of the camera. You will be required to tape 8-10 broll shots of around 10 seconds each. It will require approx 3 hrs to 3 1/2 hrs on location including taping setup breakdown, calling it door to door from your car.

The skills other than operating a camera includes making the client feel comfortable and capturing the full script in entirety or in pickups. I will need to know if you can provide script on teleprompter or equal iPad or the like.

Because client is looking into lens it takes some special consideration and skills to make them look good not looking off camera. For videographer that has been doing this for some time this is a no brainer except the reading. I need to know how you can make client look good.

Videographer needed for one half day shoot. — Project Type: 1

Auditions For Noises Off – 1476618
02-20-15 – Albany, NY>Hartford, CT – The play takes a fond look at the follies of theatre folk, whose susceptibility to out-of-control egos, memory loss and passionate affairs turn every performance into a high-risk adventure. This comedy-within-a-comedy captures a touring theatre troupe’s production of Nothing On in three stages: dress rehearsal, the opening performance, and a performance toward the end of the run.

Each performance is portrayed from behind the scenes, progressing from flubbed lines and missed cues in the dress rehearsal to mounting friction between cast members in the final performance. Brimming with slapstick comedy, Noises Off is a backstage farce of slamming doors, falling trousers and flying sardines!

Audition Preparation: Auditions will consist of cold readings of brief scenes from the script. Everyone will have time to look over the scene and get familiar with the words. The scenes do not have to be memorized, but a feeling for the character should come through.

Because of the nature of the show, all characters will be needed at almost every rehearsal. This is very much an ensemble cast that depends heavily on timing to create visual, slapstick humor. — Project Type: Live Event

02-17-15 – Albany, NY>Buffalo, NY – The creative team responsible for a recent Broadway flop (in which three chorus girls were murdered by the mysterious “Stage Door Slasher”) assemble for a backer’s audition of their new show at the Westchester estate of a wealthy “angel.” The house is replete with sliding panels, secret passageways and a German maid who is apparently four different people—all of which figure diabolically in the comic mayhem which follows when the infamous “Slasher” makes his reappearance and strikes again—and again. As the composer, lyricist, actors and director prepare their performance, and a blizzard cuts off any possible retreat, bodies start to drop in plain sight, knives spring out of nowhere, masked figures drag their victims behind swiveling bookcases, and accusing fingers point in all directions. However, and with no thanks to the bumbling police inspector who snowshoes in to investigate, the mystery is solved in the nick of time and the “Slasher” unmasked—but not before the audience has been treated to a sidesplitting good time and a generous serving of the author’s biting, satiric and refreshingly irreverent wit.
